Skiing between glacier, mountain, and lake 

Almost endless winter sports fun is guaranteed by 408 km of slopes as well as 121 lifts including a glacier ski area. With just one ski pass, you can experience the diverse slopes in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and on the Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun.

Nordic Skiing

Sporty cross-country trails, leisurely laps, fantastic scenery and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Whether classic or skating style is up to you. 107 km of cross-country ski trails in the region take you to the towns of Zell am See, Kaprun, Piesendorf, Niedernsill, Bruck, Fusch, as far as Maishofen and on towards Saalfelden. The combination possibilities are diverse and many of the trails can be combined into a network worth seeing.

Maisi-Flitzer

While elsewhere people only talk about tobogganing during the winter months, you can experience the force of gravity at the Maisi Flitzer in Zell am See-Kaprun all year round. The "Alpine Coaster" is located at the Maiskogelbahn in Kaprun. Great fun on a length of 1,600 meters and 63 curves.
